Do you love riding? Want to help raise money for the nonprofit Philadelphia Folksong Society? You can do both on Saturday, August 14th, just before the 49th Annual Philadelphia Folk Festival.
The ride begins and ends at Green Lane Park Montgomery County, off of Route 29, 2144 Snyder Rd, Perkiomenville, PA 18074
There will be one rest stop on the way with beverages and snacks at the Philadelphia Folk Festival site. Ride start time: 9:30 am for two laps, 10:30 am for one lap.
Sweep and limited ride support provided.
Registration Fee is $25. All riders must be pre-registered, no on-site registration. Includes snacks, T-shirt and possibly surprise gifts!

who is the festival sponsor?
Since its inception, the Philadelphia Folk Festival has been the primary fund raising event for the Philadelphia Folksong Society. Founded as a 501(c) 3 non-profit, educational organization in 1957, PFS provides programs of presentation, education, and participation. Some of these include:
Season programming: presents historical musical expression as well as innovative folk artists in premier venues throughout PA
Odyssey of American Music: bring arts in education programs to area schools where budgets have been cut or decreased
Grants in Aid: Funds various programs, including seed grants for other Festivals and organizations
Community Service: sends musicians to senior centers, hospices, mental health centers, and other organizations.
