Summer is ancient history. Fall is but a wispy memory. Winter is upon us, dashing our hopes on icebergs of despair. But Wait! Here comes Cabin Fever Fest, a sunny isle in a sea of icy white flakes! Yep, it's a daylong hunk of those Summer Festivals where you can catch up with old friends and meet new ones too! Better yet, there are jams, workshops, good food and a nifty Open Stage with Professional Audio and Lighting!
Tickets are available online until Tuesday, February 15 @ 11:59pm. After that, please call the PFS office at 215-247-1300 or Beth Fuhr at 610-296-3397 for registration information or directions. We will be accepting walk-in registrations beginning at 12:00 noon on Saturday, February 19, 2005. There will be a limited number of dinners available for purchase at the event.
Following the afternoon workshops and jamming is a dinner by Shackamaxon Catering. Then, the Open Stage/Concert happens. Event tickets are only $26 in advance and $29 at the door (for nonmembers it's $31 and $34). You can buy the catered dinner for an additional $19, or pack a meal. BYO(Beer/Wine). Afternoon snacks are available for purchase, too! Menu options include veggies, meaties and dogs/burgers.
Workshop Opportunities
Don't see what you like? Wanna lead a workshop? Let us know! Workshops happen all day and can include Irish, 60s Folk, 00s Folk, bluegrass, old timey, topical, fingerpicking, flatpicking, Klezmer, kid's songs and more.

Report from Cabin Fever Fest V
With just a hint of spring in the air, the Fifth Annual Cabin Fever Fest drew a great crowd of folkies feverish to forget February and put winter behind them.

A full day of workshops from blues to bones kept the Feverers busy. At any time, those who couldn't find a workshop that interested them could be found jamming in the dining room.

After a fine meal prepared by Richard of Moonlight Catering, the Open Stage kept the music going until almost 10:30. Rumor has it that hardy souls could be found jamming until well after last call from The Commodore Barry Club's bar.

See you next year at CFF VI - February 18, 2006
PS - I think the club closed on them - what a first!
